A chocolate fountain makes a great addition to a party. With just a little preparation, you will find that the main task is to ensure that everyone gets a turn!
Preparation
The main preparation for your party can be made in advance and mostly involves getting things ready to be dipped in chocolate. Examples of things that go well are marshmallows, strawberry, pear and pineapple pieces. These can be washed and cut in advance, then transported them to the party in sealed plastic containers, ready to be open and available near the fountain.
Supplies
Other items you will need wooden sticks or plastic forks to hold the pieces to be covered in chocolate, and a stack of napkins. A pile of dishes in some way - to China, plastic or paper is normally required, but the napkins can be used if necessary. We found that a package of wipes was also useful for cleaning the most enthusiastic eaters, too! Of course, a roll of kitchen paper may well prove useful as well, and at least one spoon is useful to have when it began to flow. If outside, a couple of garbage bags for cleaning can help (see below). An extension cord may be necessary to allow the arrangement of the source where the maximum number of people can achieve it at once. If this is the first exit to the source of chocolate, so be sure to take a quick bath before use - preferably before the day of the feast!
Party Time tips
The same day, the main thing is to make the chocolate until melted and the temperature. If you need to trust the source of chocolate itself may take longer than expected, so the ideal solution is being able to melt the chocolate in the microwave before adding it to the source, as this enormous speeds up the process. So it's just a matter of getting the source level - which typically have adjustable feet for this - to ensure that there is a steady curtain of chocolate all around the source. Can be a bit fiddly if chocolate is not quite up to temperature and flowing as it should, but it is possible!
You want to have some places for customers to have a napkin - remember the plastic bags the previous - but keep at least one back ...
Finally, after all have had their fill, and if you're holding your party outside the home, to prepare it for transportation back, then simply throw away any remaining chocolate in one container that you used for the fruit, let it cool a bit fountain, then put it into the remaining plastic bags for transport to let him come home without spreading the chocolate everywhere!
Finally, there is the task of removing the chocolate and washing - do not let a long time!
